Ryan Moreno

Ryan Moreno is co-founder and CEO of The Joseph Richard Group, one of BC’s fastest growing hospitality companies. The company currently operates various food, beverage and retail establishments, a private beer label, an estate winery, a full-service catering company and the food & operation at a local golf club. More recently, the group was selected as the exclusive operator for Vancouver’s first ever 30,000 square foot Food Hall in the former Canada Post building which will now be home to Amazon in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Under Ryan’s direction, the company has further diversified their portfolio by launching Meal Ticket Brands and LIQR.CA, both leveraging technologies to push innovation and further development within the hospitality sector. Ryan also holds a rapidly growing commercial real estate portfolio and is a founding partner at Search + Rescue Marketing Agency which he started in 2005 under a different brand. 

Ryan launched JRG’s One Night Out Fundraising Campaign in 2017 because of his involvement with Covenant House. Now in its 5th year, the Annual One Night Out has raised over $660,000 in support of vulnerable youth through the work of City Dream Centre, Variety the Children’s Charity, Covenant House, Youth Unlimited, Phoenix Society and Mackie’s Place. Ryan was named finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 and 2019 and was awarded 2018 Business Person of the Year by South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce. Ryan sits on the Board of Governors for the South Surrey Independent School Society, which operates Southridge School and continues to support local communities and businesses in valuable and extraordinary ways. 

Above it all, Ryan is quick to acknowledge that his greatest accomplishments are his two wonderful kids that he shares with his wife Cindy.
